Welcome to the Academic-Year Paycheck Options site, a set of online resources to assist nine-month employees in managing their paychecks and personal finances. While these tools and resources can be used by all UW employees, this information is specifically tailored to address the unique needs and concerns of our nine-month employees.
The information on this site specifically addresses two areas of concern expressed by our nine-month employees:
- Cash flow issues arising out of receiving nine monthly paychecks to satisfy a whole year's worth of expenses;
- Tax issues arising out of the effect of the Federal marginal tax rates on the tax withholding of individuals who receive nine monthly paychecks
